Clinker Grinding
Clinker Grinding
Clinker grinding is a crucial step in the cement production process. After the raw materials are heated and transformed into clinker in a kiln, the clinker is then finely ground into a powder. This powder is what eventually becomes cement.
During clinker grinding, the clinker is mixed with a small amount of gypsum and other additives to enhance the final product’s properties. The mixture is then fed into a grinding mill, where it is ground into a very fine powder. The result is the fine, grey powder known as cement, which is used in various construction projects. This process ensures that the cement has the right consistency and quality for strong, durable concrete.
